Probably too late for GW1 but maybe for GW2 but guilds should have birthdays too. Maybe the option to buy something for the guild like a decoration or have the ability to add new designs to the capes at 1 year,2years and so on. Spice up some of these halls and capes a bit.

Thoughts?

Not necessarily a trim I'm talking more of a logo more maybe even get a diffrent color for the logo.

This is a great idea and I like the sound of it.

In my opinion, they should implement that the guild leader should get a special Guild Hall token in their inventory that allows them access to specific guild halls if they trade them in. It could be an interesting backfire in GvG, though... but who cares, I like the idea of exclusive decorations or halls! ^^

I agree, although a trim should be restricted to PvP though. IMO, Obrien's idea is probably the best, or maybe having access to special emblems.

it would be cool for somthing on cape, but that would depreciate gvg trims. idk what kinda decoration would work. maybe something in the tag? idk, need to brainstorm on better ways of reward ;-)

it would be nice to be able to customize your cape more (e.g. make it look similar to the cape of the white mantle). but this should be possible for everyone else too. so /undecied

nice idea... I like it. Though I'm not really sure if there is any way to close, or start a guild over, like characters. If they did something like this, they're probably also have to have a provision to close the guild. Because people sell Guild Halls and keep the same name. That means that anyone could have an "older" guild hall, just by buying an older guild.

Something to think about.

I like it. For instance you could have an extra emblem that sits in the corners of the cape. Have different designs you can choose from, and for every year, your capes will get another corner piece.

I'd prefer Guild Hall decorations over new cape stuff tbh. Overall I'm in favour of the idea, but I'm not really concerned about it.

And what about being able to have one Hall more per year?

You add a new NPC next to the Canthan ambassador, and it lets you go to any of the halls. And each hall will have the unlocked NPCs.

And when you choose to go to the Guild Hall, you can either go to the 'active hall' or the one you want.
